i am going twards the end of february so i won't have to worry about valentine's and as much as i am hoping for monsters to be a success i don't think it will create to much crowds.
Were going this Friday evening ... hope it's not too busy, would love to get a few rides on Space ... haven't been on the new version yet ...

I'm going Friday too! A good tip for SM is to get your fast pass by 3pm.. lately that's the earliest I've been able to get mine and the pass is always for 10-11pm!! Get it early y'all!
^ Unfortunately we won't be there until 5 or 6pm. Hopefully some FP's will still be available, if not, stand-by awaits.

get a fastpass [usually says get back by 11]
go in standby for 15 minutes
ride BLAB
matterhorn
get back at 11
boom, 2 space mountain rides in 2 hours

I'm so excited to not have to wait in huge lines! But I am sad about the shorter hours and the limited Fantasmic/Fireworks showings.
well they need to cut back on costs
and seeing as its the off season
and the only people they might be pulling in are regulars
theres no reason for everyday fantasmic/fireworks

Consequently, Hollywood and Dine is one of the locations I work out of now.. Yeah, it's not coming back as a restraunt anytime soon.
I've heard rumors that the Starcade 2nd level may just become another stockroom for Star Trader. You can never have enough stockrooms y'know.
The Next Big Disney Thing:starts Jan. 3rd
I was very pleased to see they already had guys cleaning the "slopes" of Space Mountain with their hoses in hand spraying off the dirt.
I realize that, but it just sucks to have to plan everything around the limited schedule. The only real reason that we go to DL is to watch Fantasmic and the Fireworks, so that cuts down the days that we can go, and we won't be able to see both in the same night anymore.
But the shorter lines are nice, and the weather's going to cool off too, yay!
Why not, while the Hub is the best place to see the Fireworks, The Rivers of America area is a great second choice for the Fireworks, and they start right after the 9 PM Fantasmic!.....
