Lego Tower of Terror

Over the past three years, I've been working on the next phase of my Lego Disneyland project. I'm pleased to share with you a sneak-peek at what is to date the biggest single structure I've ever built... the Hollywood Tower Hotel.

The building is not yet complete; I still have to build the back part of the building. For now, it is mostly a facade. I plan to eventually add in operating elevator doors, a complete queue area, and rig up a falling elevator.

The structure is not my own design; I looked at a virtual rendering constructed by another Lego enthusiast and adjusted his plan minimally.
It's been interesting to note that in a virtual Lego world, gravity doesn't exist!

I've recently been working on more complete front garden areas and an expanded driveway to allow the ToT to be used in some of the other Lego shows I participate in.

Re: Lego Tower of Terror

Now that is impressive! I've done some tall towers before, but nothing as massive (width and depth) as that, nor as real looking. Love the Taco Bell down on on the right.

Can't wait to see it finished.

Re: Lego Tower of Terror

Very impressive. I love LEGO. How cool would a Disney Theme Park series of LEGO sets be?
