Renewing AP before your expiration date

Question: If You Renew Your AP At The Park Before Your Expiration Date Do You Still Receive $20 Discount Off The Price Of A Premium Or Deluxe Annual Passport And Coupon For 20% Off A Select Merchandise Purchase? Or Does That Only Apply To Mail And On-Line Orders? Also I Know Your AP Will Have A Different Design. Thanks guys!

If you renew in the park 30 days or less prior to your expiration, you do get the discount (now $30 for Premium AP holders) but you do not get the discount coupon.

The only AP available at the park is the "traditional" version.

The alternative AP design and the Merchandise coupon are only available if you renew online or by mail.

30 days is the maximum.

A great deal is upgrading your Deluxe AP to a Premium AP about 30 days in advance of your Deluxe Expiration date.

You get the $30 renewal discount (the renewal discount is based on the new AP you buy) and then about 13 months of use of a Premium, as the new AP is valid for when it is issued, but will have the expiration date (plus a year) of the old AP.

For example, your current AP expires February 28th, 2009. On January 30th, you could renew your AP, and the new expiration date would be February 28th, 2010.

When did they start giving a $30 discount on PAPs? I renewed earlier this month and only received a $20 discount.

I received my renewal in the mail today for Dec. 18 and I also only got a $20 discount for a Premium pass.
