We headed down to Disneyland with our new camera to give it a proper trial run.
We arrived at the park at about 10am on Saturday and headed to DCA first.
It was quite a cloudy and overcast day, but nice.
Is this the last we'll ever see of Candy Corn Acres??? At least in it's current setting???
Headed over to take a spin on Soarin'
The boy ready to go on Soarin'
After Soarin', saw a pretty awesome Spiderweb by the Condor Flats sign
Headed back to check out the line for TSMM, but we didn't feel like waiting
Then lunch at the Mexican place at the Wharf
A couple more dorks
Then it was off to take our first look at the Blue Sky Cellar
I'll try not to bore you with pictures you've probably seen way too many times
The new queue for Mickey's Fun Wheel. I hadn't seen a close up of this one yet.
I want some Imagination-Noir.
Overall I thought the Cellar was great. Even though I've seen all the plans for the park quite a few times, it still adds to the excitement.
Orange go bye-bye
My two best girls
Hooray for Hollywood
A kid, a HUMAN kid (is that like half child, half goat???)
I always love taking pictures of Tower with dark, menacing clouds overhead
Then we headed over to Disneyland
The Jungle Cruise
We've had REALLY bad luck with skippers lately, and this one was no exception. At this point I'd settle for a mediocre skipper.
Next up was Pirates
NOS is already getting ready for Christmas
Duck in the Magnolia Gardens fountain
I liked the way this came out, NOT the shot I was going for though.
Me and the boy headed to TSI while waiting for our HMH Fastpasses to mature
NOS Panoramic View
And then the camera battery promptly died, thus ending pictures from Day 1.
We would leave the park soon anyway, still have to take it easy with Belle's back and all.
Check back later for day 2.
THE END (of part one)
