    Disneyland

    3) What attraction do you ride first?

    Dumbo

    4) Where is your favourite place for a snack and what is it?

    Dole Whip

    5) Favourite show at the resort?

    Aladdin

    6) What attraction is your least favourite?

    7) if you could change one thing about a attraction what would it be?

    Make Dumbo a longer ride.

    Re: A bit of fun!

    1) Upon entering the resort where are you most likely to park?

Mickey and Friends, but I often take public transportation.

    2) Which park do you go to first?

Disneyland is usually the only park I go into. I did go into DCA first once, though, but that wasn't my decision.

    3) What attraction do you ride first?

    Usually Space Mountain or Indy.

    4) Where is your favourite place for a snack and what is it?

I love churros, but I can only have, like, half of one.

    5) Favourite show at the resort?

RDCT is the most amazing fireworks show ever.

    6) What attraction is your least favourite?

Hard to say, since I haven't been on all of 'em. HMH is probably the one that made me feel the worst the first time, since it was such an utter disappointment to have HM temporarily removed in favor of...this.

    7) if you could change one thing about a attraction what would it be?

Just one thing? Mmmm...one of my top choices would be to remove the music from the battle scene in Pirates. Fun piece, cool re-recording, but WAAAY out of place.

    8) If you could bring back an attraction what would it be?

I assume without removing its replacement? If so...probably the Mine Train thru Nature's Wonderland. ATIS would be a nice one to experience, too.

    9) If you could add anything to the park what would it be?

I'd add a new E-ticket to Tomorrowland, combining the best elements of thrill rides and dark rides in the way that Indy does.

    10) Last attraction to ride before leaving?

No real tradition there, but Indy at midnight is definitely a blast.

    11) Something you are yet to do at the park!

    Peter Pan!

    Re: A bit of fun!

    1) Upon entering the resort where are you most likely to park?

    Mickey and friends

    2) Which park do you go to first?

I go to DL to get a fast pass to Space Mountain and then take a stroll through the park. I usually go to the parks for the late afternoon and evening and prefer DCA during the day and DL at night.

    3) What attraction do you ride first?

California Screamin'. I'm a delayed gratification person so I save the better DL rides for later.

    4) Where is your favourite place for a snack and what is it?

Dole Whip at the Tiki Room. How could anything else compare? Okay. Maybe tiger butter fudge.

    5) Favourite show at the resort?

I never liked shows until I saw Aladdin. I just happened to be walking by when they were still letting people in just before the show started. It was way better than I expected and now I see it everytime I go. I'm definitely looking forward to it opening again. I'm thankful they renewed Aladdin for another year.

    6) What attraction is your least favourite?

Innoventions! One time I was having a very bad day (not the park's fault) so I decided to do a "bad day at DL" junket. I was there on my own so there was no one else to talk me out of it. I did:

    • California Dreams - I had never seen it and it was as bad as everyone says.
    • Fantasmic - I know lots of people love Fantasmic. I'm just not one of them. I saw it standing so aside from being bored, my feet hurt. Okay, I like the dragon part but the rest just doesn't work for me.
    • Tiki room - I don't actually hate the tiki room but I've seen it enough times that it's a bit boring. Plus it's air conditioned and I didn't have a sweatshirt so it was very uncomfortable.
    • Innoventions - This was the crowning achievement of "bad day at DL". I didn't know that it closed at 9:00 PM and I showed up at about 9:05 after eating dinner. So when it turned out to be closed I thought, "Oh bugger, something finally when right!". Then a very friendly CM walked up and she said, "It's okay you can join the last group." Yup, that was a very bad day indeed.

    7) if you could change one thing about a attraction what would it be?

I'd have the pirates chasing the women around again like they used to. I hadn't been to DL in more than 20 years (I go pretty often now) and my niece didn't warn me that the ride had changed. I couldn't believe they PC'ed the thing. At least the rooster is still chasing the hens around the fountain. I keep expecting them to change the bride auction to a scene about speed dating.

    8) If you could bring back an attraction what would it be?

I want the flying saucers back. We'll see how the DCA update turns out but the original flying saucers were way cool. Nobody had anything like them. It wasn't a thrill ride but it was definitely one of the highlights of the day. The only problem was that I didn't weigh enough to ride alone. You had to step on a scale and weigh above a certain amount to ride. I had to ride with a brother or sister. It was really fun just watching the thing operate. The little disks opened, closed, and hissed. Then the big arm moved back and forth between cycles to push one set of saucers to the side while releasing the other set to go out and float around. It was definitely worth the "E" ticket.

    9) If you could add anything to the park what would it be?

I miss transport rides which let you sit down and watch other people enjoy the park kind of like the way you watch the little peeps walking around in RollerCoaster tycoon. The People Mover was pretty long and gave you a good view of people in TomorrowLand. Of course, that's back when TomorrowLand was worth looking at. The Skyway let you see a good chunk of the park although you could see the modern roofs of the FantasyLand show buildings which removed a bit of the charm of the place. That improved once they did the FantasyLand upgrade. The DL railroad used to allow you to see into the park for much of its circuit. Now you mostly see trees, stations, and the Dinosaur thing at the end. Disneyland's just not as good a park to observe as it used to be. Bringing back the PeopleMover would be a step in the right direction.

    10) Last attraction to ride before leaving?

    Usually it's Indy.

    11) Something you are yet to do at the park!

    BLAB

And some comments on other folks' answers:

The Mine Train was probably my favorite ride as a kid. If you like train rides, it was the best one in existence. It went past Rivers of America, had some great tunnels, and then there were the mudpots, old unfaithful, the bears, and magic waters (or whatever they were called) just before the end of the ride, etc. etc. It was a great train ride.

The Adventure Through Inner Space was more of an acquired taste and never that popular when we rode it (always a walk on) but I'd take it over Star Tours. The only negative is that it smelled like moldly fiberglass.

    Re: A bit of fun!

    1) Upon entering the resort where are you most likely to park?

    Mickey and Friends

    2) Which park do you go to first?

    Disneyland!

    3) What attraction do you ride first?

    Usually the Matterhorn.

    4) Where is your favourite place for a snack and what is it?

It's not really a visit to Disneyland if I don't wander around eating one of those huge pickles from the little fruit stands at some point.

    5) Favourite show at the resort?

Do parades count? I love the Electrical Parade.

    6) What attraction is your least favourite?

Winnie the Pooh was just a little strange for me.

    7) if you could change one thing about a attraction what would it be?

I would want there to be more time in the Indy que. I feel like there is never enough time to enjoy all the little details inside the building after doing most of the waiting outside.

    8) If you could bring back an attraction what would it be?

I'm disappointed that Adventure Through Inner Space was before my time, but I wouldn't want to get rid of Star Tours, so they'll just have to coexist in some inter-dimensional time-warp thingy.

    9) If you could add anything to the park what would it be?

I would add an annual capture the flag game. I know it isn't a physical thing, but imagine how cool it would be to have the whole park devoted to a giant game of capture the flag, with one team for each land!

    10) Last attraction to ride before leaving?

    Peter Pan

    11) Something you are yet to do at the park!

I have yet to have the chance to ride the Nemo version of the submarines and I am very excited because the subs were my favorite ride as a kid.

    [bold mine]

The Rainbow Caverns. Yeah, it looks like it was a nice Frontierland counterpart to the Jungle Cruise, and I wish I'd gotten a chance to ride it. Overall, I'd probably prefer BTMRR, or at least hold it in equally high esteem, but it's still an experience I wish I could have.

You would? I never experienced ATIS either, but from what I know, it hardly seems like I'd prefer it over Star Tours. Granted, Star Tours has definitely aged (a problem that'll soon be addressed), and my body doesn't take it quite as well as it used to, but I still have a lot of respect for it.

    Re: A bit of fun!

    1) Upon entering the resort where are you most likely to park?

Timon. Until the twelfth, that is.

    2) Which park do you go to first?

Depends. I usually go to the resort later in the day, so DCA is either closing soon or already closed. If it's the former, I go to DCA. If it's the latter, well, you really don't have a choice.

    3) What attraction do you ride first?

It varies, but Splash Mountain is usually one of the first three.

    4) Where is your favourite place for a snack and what is it?

I'm a cheapskate. I refuse to buy overpriced food.

    5) Favorite show at the resort?

Fantasmic. I know there are a lot of pros and cons to having the show running, but I still really like it.

    6) What attraction is your least favourite?

Pirate's Lair. It's just gotta go. (I would say Innoventions, but I haven't been in there in almost ten years, so I'm only assuming I don't like it)

    7) if you could change one thing about a attraction what would it be?

Take the corny elements out of the Autopia. Make it a bit more real.

    8) If you could bring back an attraction what would it be?

People Mover. That would do SO much for Tomorrowland.

    9) If you could add anything to the park what would it be?

A Tomorrowland that actually had a great big beautiful tomorrow.

    10) Last attraction to ride before leaving?

    Most often Space Mountain.

    11) Something you are yet to do at the park!

    Ride the Main Street vehicles.

Nooooo! Don't do that to us!
Like I said in mine they should have well hidden places within the park..
some parents choose to take the children in they're though! shame on them!

BUT if you think about it they're are many more things than cigs that can cause cancer....

there is abestos in many of the rides (at least I read something about that!!) would you want them to remove these rides too? .....

ATIS was definitely not for everyone. It was very abstract looking and pretty creepy. The voiceover was done by the same guy who did Tony the Tiger (Thurl Ravenscroft) but he was very serious sounding in this ride. He's the deep voiced guy who did voiceovers for lots of Disney rides. At the start of the ride, your vehicle (a blue doombuggy) went into the shrinko-thingie and you could see these tiny model vehicles with tiny model people in them coming out the other end of the shrinko-thingie. You watched it as you stood in line (actually as you walked quickly through the empty line). It was very effective if you were willing to suspend disbelief a bit. As I recall, you started near giant snowflakes and then things changed as you shrank. As you shrank the announcer kept saying things like "dare I shrink further?". It wasn't exactly scary but the voiceover helped give it a sense of danger. It definitely had an edge you don't get in most Disney rides. Then the snowflakes melted and you had these energetic water molecules flying all over the place as their temperature went up. Near the end you passed a giant eye peering into a giant microscope which was looking at you.

I think most people would prefer Star Tours. But if they had Bats day back then, ATIS probably would have gotten lots of Goth business. It just had that special creepy something going for it if you have a decent imagination.

Don't get me wrong - like I said, I'd like a chance to experience it. I occasionally enjoy listening to an audio tour of the attraction in iTunes, and from all the descriptions I've read (and personal accounts from my mother), it seems like it was a solid bit of Imagineering. But to compete with Star Tours today, it would need some really innovative and realistic and unnerving effects, and not a hint of 60s cheesiness. That would be really quite a treat to experience.

Easier said than done, sadly. There aren't too many hidden areas that'd be conducive to that. Many of the low-foot-traffic areas are quite pretty (e.g. Big Thunder Trail) and Disney would piss off a lot of people who like relaxing in those places. Besides, the more remote the location, the more you annoy the smokers, and the less likely they are to find it.

there is abestos in many of the rides (at least I read something about that!!) would you want them to remove these rides too? .....
I highly doubt Disney would knowingly expose guests to any significantly hazardous materials like that. They're a big company, and Disneyland brings in millions of guests every year. While the average guest wouldn't really be harmed by a few minutes of low exposure to asbestos every now and then, they really couldn't afford to take the risk. I could be wrong about this...but I doubt it.
