I will be there on Saturday with my son. I was going to go anyway. My mom got me 3 day park hopper tickets (we get discount tickets at work 3 day park hopper for $99 and I have 45 days to use the 3 visits) for my birthday now I can use those tickets as the down payment. I am so excited!!!!

Re: Disnyland AP Pass, Is there monthly payment plans?

At first I found the whole monthly plan attractive. We were going to wait until the monthly option was available, but then I thought to myself, "That's just another bill every month." I'd rather get rid of the bill ASAP so I just paid for our AP's in full. We didn't bother to wait and see if the whole monthly payment thing was going to happen.

The last thing that most folks need are more monthly payments.

I don't see much good coming out of this for some consumers. In fact, for some it is a BAD thing...

We've always paid cash for ours, and will continue to do so.

    Enjoy!

I'm putting it on my debit card which is the same as giving them cash every month.

Since I'm getting them for family as gifts, do I need to have the members present? I plan on purchasing the good socal option and I'm not sure if they need to prove their SoCal residency for me to buy them.
    Everybody's got a laughin' place-
trouble is most folks won't take the time to go look for it.

Yes, if they are adults, they will need to be present to verify that they are socal residents. For Children, no, since they are kids and won't have id..

So has anyone jumped on this opportunity? Any snags? Is the annual pass a park hopper?

I'll be heading down to get my families passes this weekend, so not sure if their will be any snags.

The pass IS a parkhopper though. All Annual passes are parkhoppers. You're getting the regular annual pass, you're just doing a payment plan instead of paying in full upfront.

I took avantage of this to get my premium AP. Went very smooth no snags. You can do it for any level of AP'S and yes they are park hoppers. You get all the discount of AP'S that you but at regular price and you can buy parking to add to the pass if you would like. It's 69.00 at the ticket booth and then they charge the first monthly payment a couple day later. If you have any further questions you can PM me.
