    11/5/08 JACKd around in DCA

Stopped by this afternoon very briefly, just some quick notes:

Monorail Red and Monorail Blue both running with guests, a lovely sight

Kudos to the cast of the new 'HSM3' show - some very good dancers, a few terrific voices and easily some of the most petite entertainers at the DLR. Judge them not by their size.

Jack Skellington is back at Animation Academy, and not just as a face again this year but in Sandy Claws-mode. My quick sketch:

The 'Bolt' pre-show is still running in A.A. with more and more recognition and laughter. Very encouraging, I'm seeing it at a screening tomorrow and just can't wait.

This brings up an interesting point that others have asked... given the popularity of Jack, and the extreme popularity of the face character, will they have him as Sandy Claws? I realize the expense of doing this (second Jack costume) but this would be synergy at work... I mean he is already on the map!

I'd sign off on this but only on a 'NBC' holiday parade float.

Sorry I thought the mic was still on.

    Here goes:

the poster asked if a Jack as 'Sandy Claws' character should be a possibility at the DLR based on his enormous popularity.

I said me likey but only utilized on a 'Nightmare Before Christmas' float for inclusion in the holiday parade, as in if they actually designed & built one.

    Better?

Haunted Mansion Holiday was on the front of the guide map last year.
I'm going to grab a bunch of guide maps the next time I'm in the park.
Thanks for the update aliasd, nice drawing by the way.

Thanks for the update. OMG I need that Disneyland map!!

Also I've said it before and I'll say it again, if they did a Sandy Claws Jack walk around he'd probably have a longer line than any of the other Santa Claus' in the park
