    Wink A nice SURPRISE :]

So me and my family are taking my father to disneyland for his birthday!
He hasn't been to disneyland in over 20 years and he has no idea!
Everyday we are going to be emailing him clues about his birthday surprise the first one was sent today!

I thought it would be fun to get micechat involved at coming up with the clues with me :]

they can't be too obvious as he is a smart cookie!

I can't wait to see what you clever folks come up with :]

What did the first clue say?

I wish someone would surprise me with a trip. Sometimes it gets tiresome being the one who does all the planning!!
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!

"Do you remember in kindergarten, how you’d meet a kid,
then 10 seconds later you’d be playing like you were best friends?"

That sounds so cool! I'm sure he'll love it.

This one's not to obvious but is still almost a give-away but maybe for your last clue you could use:
"We're going to the happiest place in the whole world."
ap·pur·te·nant – adjective: appertaining or belonging; pertaining.

    ...to Disneyland.

I'm sure somebody will at some point :]

    the first clue was :-

    Happy birthday to you!
    Happy birthday to you...
    Happy Birthday dear ___
    Happy birthday to you!

This is the first clue about your birthday surprise! It's to let you know the date, which is November 15th. So cl3ar your calender and wait for more clues to follow

You don't say where you're writing from, but you can try getting an accurate and exact distance measurement from his front step to the main entrance at Disneyland and using that as a clue...

    What about something like this:

We can't wait to tell you
A great surprise it'll be, since
Living as long as you have
    Tis quite the victory

Notice the first letter of each line. I would save this one until midrun. If he is really quick he might catch it.

I had another thought. Why not send him a picture of some really obscure thing in the park? Somebody on here once posted a closeup picture of the painting on the front of one of the trains. It is of a moose, I think. I don't think you could ever figure it out from that.

Or if you don't have time to do that, send him a picture of some flat black material. Make sure it is all black, no design whatsoever. You could tell him later that it was a close up of Mickey's ear.

I was thinking of sending him a picture of something, that could be quite interesting!
What about I send him a picture of the gold marker that used to signify the dead center of the park?

I think there is something written on it that might give the location away... maybe a super closeup of a brick on the castle?

A clue haiku (the ending might give it away...)

If I got this clue, the first thing I'd do is map it out and see what places are that distance away. Disneyland would stick out like a sore thumb!

How about some very vague clues like "you might get wet" or "you might go really fast"?
