Are they re-opening the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walk-Through?

I heard that they were re-opening this attraction, and I was ecstatic when I found this out, but I have no idea if they actually did re-open it or not. Can somebody please let me know the status of this attraction? I heard it was to be re-opened for the 50th anniversary of Sleeping Beauty...

It should be open by Nov. 21, with the start of the Winter season at Disneyland.

It's not open yet, but it will be over the holiday season.

I am, personally, very excited for this. I miss going inside the castle very much.

The latest Disneyland Press Release says "Mid-December", which I presume would be the start of Christmas Peak, December 19th.

Might open earlier though, but I wouldn't plan on it.

Darkbeer is right, the last Disneyland press release says "mid-December" -- but I've been told that Disney is shooting for November 21, which is the date I have posted in the Disneyland Project Tracker

Of course, everything in the Disneyland Project Tracker is subject to change -- and it often does.

It would be AWESOME if you are right Gracey, cause I don't want to go to Disneyland that late in December, right in the middle of christmas break. I can only imagine the crowds.

I've seen mention of the Nov 21st date a few times, but the official word from Disney is as Darkbeer states: Mid December. They may be trying to get it open in time for the full Christmas season, but I would take ANYTHING except the official press release as a rumor and only a possibility. Don't plan around them and don't be disappointed if they turn out to not be true. Well, ok, be disappointed, but not angry

I would also like to note, however, that the official Holidays at the Disneyland Resort web site (www.disneyland.com/holidays) says the following:

The mention of the Walk-Through and the official beginning of the holidays on November 21 would imply re-opening of the Walk-Through by that date. Nothing explicitly about the Walk-Through attraction has been released though...

I heard from a CM that it won't open until mid to late January. But that was about a month ago so it might be that things have changed.

I'm planning on upgrading my pass when the castle reopens so lets hope its mid December.

Tony Baxter has stated the castle would open "before the las autumn leaf falls", specifying that that can happen in January here in California. That was due to the uncertainty as to how long it would take to complete the conversion. So, I would NOT expect it to open before the middle of December.

I can't wait I am going next month for my last trip before my annual pass expires. I have never got to experience this even when I was a kid so this should be great to see when it opens.
