 | When is the best time to go to Disneyland in December? Well I wanted to go to the park for the holidays, but it turns out that the soonest I can go is in the actual month of December. I know how crowded the park can get in this month so i'm wondering when is the best time to go! I have school so, in other words, what is the best weekend in December? | Re: When is the best time to go to Disneyland in December? My crystal ball says that the second w/e in December will be the best. The best full week starts the Monday after the T-Day w/e. But as mentioned, the CP is the first w/e, though we never let that spoil our time there. We did enjoy meeting Dick VanDyke and Hector Elonz-whatever (sp, sorry) when we were there. Enjoy!  |

It will be busy, but if you get into the park before 9 you'll get a couple of rides without waits (Pirates, Jungle Cruise) and be able to start collecting Fastpasses. So long as you collect Fastpasses, it doesn't matter how busy it gets. You'll still get to go on all the popular rides without much wait. You'll just have to weave through lots of crowds between the rides. The last time I went on a Friday, it got more crowded at night so lines didn't get shorter. Most of the APs are blacked out those days so maybe it won't be so bad for you. I've never gone more for more than 1 day at a time, so I'm always looking to maximize rides and minimize waits. Your approach for 2 days may vary. Just expect a crowd and go with the flow. Don't let it frustrate you. |

Yay. I'm going 10-12. I expect Friday the 12th to be very busy in the evening but I am determined to see Fantasmic. Last year we went first week of Dec wed-sat and it was more busy than I expected but not terrible. | |
