Glad somebody got the Indy reference![]()
Whoever he got this last batch from, he needs to take them off his list. While it appears the some of the basic ideas are true, other elements are just so bogus and off the wall. He has usually been a lot more careful and accurate in the past. I hope that this doesn't result in seriously damaging his credibility.
indy reference I was thinking family guy lol
Before miceage, Al was one of the founders of mouseplanet. Before that he had a website called the DL Information Guide, which I stumbled across in 1997. It is my understanding that before that he was a heavy poster on the alt.disneyland newsgroup. He's had a lot of time to cultivate sources. When Kevin Yee (who also was part of mouseplanet) moved to Florida, you could tell he was writing without access to those kind of sources, although he seems to have a few now.
What's important to keep in mind with what he writes is that Disney plans are very fluid until something is actually built. I'm sure many of us have seen the footage of WED on the Sunday night show with Rollie Crump talking about the Museum of the Weird, which, of course, was never realized. So Al may accurately report that something has been discussed, planned, etc. even if it never actually happens.
There has been speculation in some corners that the Mouse will leak some things sometimes in order to guage the reaction. Whether this is true or not, I don't know.
A bientot.
RememberWhat the dormouse saidFeed your head!
You've read it; you can't unread it!
I believe the question should be rephrased.
So, where does Al get his rumors?

With apologies to the thread for the OT post, I'm curious what the number of KsfCptnAwesome's posts have to do with the validity of KsfCptnAwesome's question.
Will my posts be criticized based on my sub-500 post count, compared to Morrigoon's 10,000?
Is there some minimum number of posts a member must make on this forum, before they may express an opinion contrary to the majority?

When one has less than 10 posts on a board but one of those posts is used to insult the credibility of one of the major contributors to a site, it does call the credibility and motivations of the poster himself into question.
That's all I'm suggesting.
Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...
