    Christmas Time?

I'm going to DRL on Christmas Day. Yay! I'm so excited! Is there anything special that they do on Christmas Day? Do they hand out pins or something? Any special events? I heard the castle's finally open again. I have to go on that.

If there is any way that you can swing Christmas Eve, I believe all of the Disney Characters in the park line up at the train station to wave good bye to you at closing. I think there's a thread on it somewhere. Otherwise, their everyday holiday celebration is pretty amazing with the tree, castle, snow, IASW lights, fireworks...it just doesn't get any better.

Now if they could just do something about these darn crowds. If the economy is keeping people away, I haven't seen it yet. Yesterday and today were a zoo.

    Re: Christmas Time?

Sweet, but my Dad wants to take a few days off after the trip to recooperate. I believe we're going December 24-26. If you've seen my other thread, you know that I have to ask this- does the Main Street Electrical Parade (now Disney's Electrical Parade but it'll always be MSEP in my heart) run on holidays or holiday weekends?

I've heard that DLR is fairly empty, except for the Jewish who mostly don't celebrate Christmas but instead celebrate Hanukkah before. Is that right? I heard it from an Alumni member, but he's on a lot of perscription drugs now, so he's kinda kooky.

Are there any Mice Chat events going on for Christmas?

I've been going to Disneyland on Christmas Day for the last 5 years goes back to 2003at first it didn't get that buzy until around 1pm but send the 50th Ann. it got buzy fast. Once in a wild on Christmas Day they will bring out a rare character I remember back in 2005 Rabbit came out. and in 2004 Belle had her red Christmas dress on which I got a picture to both of them. But other then that not much really happens. Oh and I also got a huge from Ariel on Christmas day 2 years in a row going for my 3rd this Christmas Day.

MY LONG TIME FRIEND THAT I HAVEN'T SEEN FOR 2 YEARS.

Last Christmas the place was absolutely MOBBED! I'm talkin' wall to wall humanity. The line for coffee at the Market house alone wound through the store, out the back door and to the lockers. It was nice, but really REALLY busy!

Oh. Then maybe my dad's alumni/drugged friend is wrong. Figures. He's wrong about lots of stuff.
