    Talking First Stay At DLH

Of the hundreds of times going to Disneyland next Sunday will be my first ever stay at the Disneyland Hotel! I was wondering if there was anything I had to make sure and check out?

Make time to check out the waterfalls and koi ponds, as mentioned above. Take time to browse the various quiet areas of the hotel, such as the sitting areas in the lobbies of the Wonder and Dreams towers, and take a look at all the historical photos and concept art shown around the Convention/Restaurant building and main lobby. Try the Cove Pool to get away from the crowds in the Peter Pan pool, and at night, head to the area closest the waterfalls and watch the light show.

The waterfalls have lights underneath them that alternate patterns and colors. It's a neat show, would be neater if you could actually go under the waterfalls at night, but darkness+slippery surface=lawsuits.

Just tell them when you check in that this is the first time you're staying at the hotel and you don't want to miss anything. The CM's will fill you in on all the details!! (Magic mornings included). You're going to have a wonderful time!
Just countin' the days til the next visit!

It just starts at dusk and continues until morning, I believe. It's continuous.

Might even let them know (when checking in) that you're celebrating your hundreds of trips to the park w/ a splurge stay at the D-hotel...y'never know one might get a little something extra special in one's D-hotel stay!
