    BTMRR Construction

Today at BTMRR, the ride was closed up. The queue is sealed up, there is scaffolding, and workers are walking all over the track. Does anyone know what is going on? Is it just an annual refurb, or something more substantial? Thanks in advance!

Oh wow...that's interesting. I dunno what the scoop is. Anyone?

(And it's "queue", not "cue." "Cue" is a word, too, but it has very different meanings.)

Big Thunder Mountain - at least according to the Disneyland website - is under a 5-day refurbishment starting today thru Friday - and with plans of it reopening by Saturday.

Made me change my plans since I love the ride so much. Originally was going to go to the park on Dec. 5th, but now I've changed it to Dec. 12th instead.

Today's Miceage update said it will be closed for just a few days. Normal maintenance I assume.
The Mickey audience is not made up of people; it has no racial, national, political, religious or social differences or affiliations; the Mickey audience is made up of parts of people, of that deathless, precious, ageless, absolutely primitive remnant of something in every world-wracked human being which makes us play with children’s toys and laugh without self-consciousness at silly things, and sing in bathtubs, and dream and believe that our babies are uniquely beautiful. You know…the Mickey in us.

Data- thanks for the catch on the typo. That's what you get when you're typing without paying attention.

You also spelled "refurb" as "referb", while we're on the topic.

    Okay, enough of that!
Back on topic, it seems like it's just a regular refurbishment.

On micechat, we only make comments about people's typos because we like them - the people, not the typos.

Now that would be a fun Photoshop project, if only I could get my hands on adequate photos to work from...
