Should Disney eventually refurbish FL's dark rides?

I asked a similar question a few weeks ago, but I'm stating it differently.

With new higher tech dark rides like the coming Little Mermaid and Tokyo's Pooh, should WDI think about bringing the current FL dark rides up to date with new special effects and ride systems? Or are they fine the way they are?

with the way that Monsters is FL can definatly be upgraded... little things have been done here and there over the years but some stuff needs improvment...Peter pan could definatly use an upgrade for the fight scene... and Mr. Toad could use more 3D figures

Mmmmm...it's not really on my list of priorities, but that's just a personal opinion. Provided they were tasteful improvements, I'd welcome the changes, while hoping that some money were being saved for the kinds of attractions I have a little more emotional investment in.

No updates so that interest dies down and I can live out my dream of riding Mr. Toad unlimited times in a row.

I voted no, and that is because I believe the attractions are still drawing a large amount of interest. They are mainly directed to young children that aren't tall enough for other attractions and the parents that accompany them. That doesn't mean the ride can't use upgrades, but that they aren't necessary.

I initially thought the poster was asking whether Disney should perform general maintenance on the rides soon, at which point I would recommend complying with Cal-DOSH regulations!

I think there's a certain charm to the simplicity of the Fantasyland dark rides, so while I'd be fine with minor changes, I don't think adding major special effects to the story of Snow White, etc. would help. However, I do think that some of the other dark rides (non-Fantasyland) around the park (particularly Pooh Bear) could use some improving along the lines of what you're describing as a "refurbishment".

It'd be nice if all of the rides could get some minor TLC though. Some of the figures look so worn. : (

I'm under the nothing major umbrella for the most part. It'd be nice the see the AA's be up-to-date, but just things like that. Same ride/system, but more fluid anamatics.

In like 10 years or so yes (for now lets worry on DCA) but yeah I mean they could add some to the rides to make them more alive, not to change them but to make them feel more real. Also they should ADD some more dark rides too.

That is what is so great about Mr. Toad's is that there aren't really any 3-D figures. I love that they are 2-D

Toad is my favorite out of all the FL dark rides. It's really one of my favorites in the park. It's carries itself very well even with the 2D figures.

Last I checked the little demons and the fire breathing dragon in the inferno scene are 3d.

Working Fantasyland I get to see everything about the dark rides. I would love to see them updated. Well Snow White in particular. You don't know how many times I hear "That's it?' when I'm working unload.

I think alot of us like them the way they are for the most part, but they do need some work. (Snow White...)

So what would you guys like to see in Snow White?
The only thing I think they could add are
    1) Add Dwarfs to the mine cave part
    2) Put the apple effect from the WDW ride (as u ride past the apple part of it is eaten)
    3) Add a ending scene
