Big Al hands down. In the original show he was voiced by Tex Ritter. And one time when the lead (who was a friend of ours) let us into one of the theaters after he finished loading the other one and then started the show just for us. I have it on video tape and it was just so much fun. It felt like they were watching us all the time and that they were doing a show just for us. The kicker was though, at the end I was standing right next to the Big Al stage and as the show ended, you could hear Big Al saying "Thank goodness that over with. Now I can take a nap!" So funny and when the theater was full of people all the noise drowned that short statement out unless you knew it was there and listened very hard for it as you went past Big Al's Stage, So funny. I miss my Bears.

I don't remember the show well enough, I'm sad to say. I was actually pretty young the last time I saw it. I think I got a kick out of the heads, though.

Another vote here for Big Al, with Tedi Bara second.

I miss "Bear Country". (A honey of a place since '72, after all.)

And naturally I miss the bears! I liked the original show best, although the "vacation hoedown" was preferable to no show at all.

And I also miss the Mile Long Bar!

Liverlips, baby! I'm sad he's not getting more love.

But my favorite has always been "Elvis Bear." I still sing his rock n' roll Santa every X-mas!

I loved them all! My favorite Country Bear moment? Little kid, maybe 3 years old, pointing at Big Al and yelling "Uncle Jimmy!!!"

    Great minds think alike! (ahem.)
Tedi Bara was the poshest, coolest bear. Bunny, Bubbles and Beulah were a close second.

As a 10 year old, Big Al was my hero. I just wanted to gain four hundred pounds, get an out of tune guitar, and get to work after hearing that.

Big Al is my top choice and also Terrance aka The Shaker due to the fact he has my name and that he's cool, too!

Big Al's "Blood On The Saddle" was the best part for me. And who was in the swing overhead - Trixie? Glad these guys are still around, but I'd feel better if they were at least blinkin' or sumthin':
