Weather: Visiting Disneyland New Week what to pack?

Hi,

Coming from Vancouver with DD's 2 & 4 & DH. I'm sure DH will be in shorts regardless of the weather, but what are most people wearing? Do I need mittens/hats for fireworks, fantasmic etc.? Do people swim at the hotels this time of year (staying at DGC)?

The weather is finally starting to cool down. Mittens aren't necessary unless you get cold easily. I suggest you dress in layers though. Mornings will be cool and it will get warm by noon, only to cool off again in the late afternoon.

And people who swim at the hotels this time of year are know as Canadians.

Just kiddin'. People from colder climates usually have no problem swimming in the hotel pools. Locals stand there freezing and get a kick out of it. Well at least I do.

Maybe. maybe not.
Check the forecast. Decide what to pack based on "minute before you pack" forecast.
No, our local forecast isn't any more accurate than weather.com.

My prediction: During the day it will be shorts weather. In the morning and the evening, it will be pants weather.

For me, my legs don't get too cold due to the amount of walking, but I will tie a sweatshirt around my waist for morning and evening times. That's me, though.

Mittens? pockets work just fine. Sweatshirt with unipocket in front.
You wear what you feel comfortable in.
Swim if you want. Pool should be open. Hotel knows what a snowbird is.

So funny! Thanks for that....I guess since we are Canadians we may be swimming after all.

My suggestion is to wear a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, a hat of any kind, and a sweatshirt of some sort. As well, you might want to bring a long sleeved shirt in case.

it's been cold lately...packing a beanie and gloves is always nice to have...just in case.
