Lightbulb Re: The Disneyland Photoshop Competition

    Here's my picture:

These are the other images I used to make this. I've never really made a photoshop picture before! I think it came out pretty good, but there are some problems with the lighting. Overall, I think this photo shows the magic that is Disneyland! Hope you like it!

Ditto. It's not the most amazingly original concept, but I'm having some fun with it, and hopefully it'll turn out well.

Are we allowed to use the aviary program Phoenix? Its just like photoshop, but no pen tool.

Mine is saving right now. I just fooled around with the colors and shapes, and gradients, and it loks like Alice in Wonderland threw up. xD

    Re: The Disneyland Photoshop Competition

I would assume that any image editing program would be fine...Photoshop, the GIMP, whatever.

A question, though - are we allowing 3D elements in these images? For my idea, it'd be nice if I could do a little bit of it CG and then composite it into the photo.

Is it? Technically, the whole contest is unfair to those who don't know how to use Photoshop...

Not necessarily trying to say we should allow minor 3D elements - though I'd obviously like that - but just some food for thought. EDIT: And my entry doesn't depend on the 3D, so if we decide against that, it's not like I'm totally screwed.

Yeah. I think as long as it involves the picture, you should be able to edit it; In other words, you can use paint if you really wanted to.
