Now I have the mental image of some little kid on the Mark Twain seeing Mickey's head in someone's hands ><===
Choc walk you cant ride any rides.

I just rememberd! The other day I was on the horse drawn trolley, and the dapper dans each grabbed onto a pole, and sang the whole way there. One lost his name tag, but we told him where it was, and he went back to get it. It was really neat.

No, Bands are different. At King Arthur's Carrosel we actually have a button called "Band Cycle" that we use for when they come by. It allows the Carrousel to go a little longer so the band can complete one full song while they ride.

But I don't want to go among MAD people!

Because you know more connections inside entertainment and I didn't know if the new policy regarding Characters on rides pertained to the bands as well. We were training about the Band Switch last night but if bands aren't allowed on that would change everything. Of course you know how long it takes for updates to get to us.

If I asked you....Ok, so if a train left LA heading for NYC left at 3:30 pm PST traveling at 55 MPH and a Train left NYC for LA left at 4:45 EST traveling at 85 MPH....Where would the fiery collision happen at?

That would be a random question

I think alot of it has to do with the rides they are going on. It would be impossible for someone like Winnie the Pooh to go on the many adventures of Winnie the pooh since he is inside already, so then the main character of the ride wouldnt be in the ride but instead riding it.... and since pooh cant ride it, it certainly doesnt seem fair that brer bear come over and ride....

    just a thought

This is too bad. It was always fun to at least see charcaters riding the rides (I've never been fortunate enought to experience it!)

I like seeing characters on rides. Esp. when they are riding with a small child who may be at the park for the very first time. What a memory that makes for that kid!! Hopefully someday they will rethink the policy, and find a way to have at least some of the characters available at times to ride with visitors.

    I'm confused by this.

Several times recently I have been at DL right after rope drop. On more than one occasion I have seen characters ride with guests. It only happens for a few minutes after park opening, but I have seen it many times. The most common instance is Goofy or Pluto on Astro Orbiter on the first ride of the day.

Maybe they just mean during the remainder of the day characters can't ride rides, but right after opening it's OK.

Re: new policy about characters on rides

The only time I ever saw a character riding something was when either Cindrella, Aurora, or Belle went on Storybook Land with a young girl. This was in the summer.
