    Difference Between Saturday and Sunday?

Okay well i know weekends are supposed to be really busy at the parks, but i've never had this question answered.

Are the crowds on Sunday less than on Saturday? If so, are they significantly less to the point where it would be worth getting all of my homework and chores done on saturday Lol.

Is it worth the inconveniences to go on a Sunday as opposed to a Saturday, is what i'm trying to ask. (next weekend specifically is when i'm going)

The only real difference between the two days I've noticed if the attendance doesn't pick up until after noon on Sunday.

If it's a Sunday the California APs are valid, it tends to be slightly more crowded than Saturday, but Sundays do tend to drop off a bit faster in the late evening after the fireworks.

Saturday is always heavier, but Sunday is skewed more toward the daytime.

Out of the two days, we prefer Sundays.

It will be really busy both days next week, though as others have said, I think your best bet is to arrive early or stay late or both on Sunday as those will be the least busy times of the weekend.
The Mickey audience is not made up of people; it has no racial, national, political, religious or social differences or affiliations; the Mickey audience is made up of parts of people, of that deathless, precious, ageless, absolutely primitive remnant of something in every world-wracked human being which makes us play with children’s toys and laugh without self-consciousness at silly things, and sing in bathtubs, and dream and believe that our babies are uniquely beautiful. You know…the Mickey in us.

If your looking to go later in the day Sunday's are much better

Saturdays are better in the mornings.

Overall Saturdays I think are more crowded.

I agree, Sunday will probably better for you, especially if you can stay fairly late, BUT check the AP calendar, because if the two lower levels are NOT blocked out, there will be an influx of AP holders coming into the park.

The Sunday after Thanksgiving was absolutely Huge! IMO much bigger then Wednesday, Thursday and probably larger or equal to Friday and Saturday.

There were so many people. So it varies.

Re: Difference Between Saturday and Sunday?

If we go on the weekends, we ALWAYS go on Sundays. We get there at opening and it is empty until around 12-1pm!!! So my suggestion is definitly Sunday!!! Hope that helps.

This was true later during the day, but it was rather empty all morning--because it was a holiday weekend, I was shocked.

Traditionally, Sundays start more slowly than Saturdays and didn't usually get any busier than Saturdays, but the gap seems to have narrowed over the past several years. Occasionally Sundays can be busier overall than their adjacent Saturdays because of the SoCal annual passport effect, of course.

Most of the time, Sunday's seem to be less crowded, especially in the morning and definitely later in the evening.

We went 4 times this week! I'm beat! HAHAH

I like Saturday's and Sunday's. I liked Summer Nights on Saturday's because I was wearing shorts, flip flops and a tank top running around having fun and I could stay late and not have to worry about getting up extra-early for work the next day. I like Sundays because they are 'slower' and relaxing.....
