    Screamin' VS. Silver Bullet

Okay, I wanted to know how do you think the rack up. I'm pretty sure they have the same speed. I've ridden both, but I'm trying to convince my best buddy to go on SB since she has been on Screamin. Anyway, I thought SB was way worse, but I'm a chicken. When I went with the Tuffree orchestra (cello player! Woot!) my friends didnt tell me what track it was.

So, what do you think? Which was is better, more fun, or whatever. xD

I don't really think the two can be compared easily. They have completely different track layouts, different track style, and they cater to different markets. That being said, SB is actually a very tame ride-it's high, but there's no forces to speak of. So if she survived Screamin', my guess is that she should be okay on Silver Bullet.

They are both alright. Screamin has more adrenaline, but that last helix on silver bullet is intense. Both are good coasters.

Theyre totally different types of coasters. You cant really compare them, since the type of coaster determines alot about your experience.
CA Screamin is fun, with some good thrills. SB is a much more intense ride. I didnt feel all that great after riding it , and Ive heard the same from others.

    Re: Screamin' VS. Silver Bullet

I think the main difference has to do with how secure you want to feel. It feels safer to be sitting down in a nice, secure train like Screamin' than to be sitting in a little chair with your feet hanging out the bottom like Silver Bullet. Other than that, they're both fairly tame coasters.

If you're looking for fun, try Xcelerator. It looks way scarier than it actually is when you ride it. Although it's still definitely scarier than either Screamin' or Silver Bullet. Xcelerator is a one trick pony but it's a really good trick.

Screamin' is a brand new Corvette on a freshly paved road.

Silver Bullet is a worn out Jeep with bad brakes going downhill on a bumpy dirt road.

    ...Some people like that.

You're right, Xcelerator is a hoot.

If you can do CS you can do SB. They are both fun rides. CS is a lot longer than SB. SB has much more inversions, but thrill wise they are pretty equal. SB is an inverted coaster, where the track is above you and your feet are dangling, which gives a sense of freedom. I like Silver Bullets cars better but I like California Screamin's layout more. Both are very smooth and fun. You will enjoy it.

Screamin's speed is 60 at the launch and about 50 the rest of the way through (xept for the top lift hill). How fast does silver bullet go? Seems like it goes faster than screamin maybe its just me?

    Re: Screamin' VS. Silver Bullet

The problem I have with SB is that the name just doesn't fit the coaster, unlike Screamin, whose name fits the themeing.

    Some points:
-If SB was a "bullet" then why start with a slow chain lift? With a name like that, they should have used LIM's to start it.

-Why do they call it "Silver Bullet" when its all bright red, yellow, and turquoise? I want to see some metallic gray or gun metal!

I think they just got a stock coaster and slapped a name on without thinking.

Well, how do you compare an apple to an orange?
The only comparison, is that they are both a rollercoaster, and they both go upside down.
Other than that, they are really different. SB is a inverted suspended coaster, while CAS is a LIM-launch coaster. One sits above the track, the other below. It really just depends on what you're wanting.

California Screamin's top speed is 55mph, not 60mph.

    I'm such a dork.
    I was thinking of Ghostrider.

Screamin' is Better, but your friend will have fun on Silver Bullet.
