Socal AP's will no longer be blocked out at that point, so honestly the crowds will be a lot worse than they are right now.

well I did hear that Ap holders do not usually come real early, Im banking on it so I can be out of the parks by 1:00 and back in by 7:00 at night.

Definitely a good plan to get there as soon as the gates open. Also, if you don't mind missing the fireworks, lines can be a lot better then. Bit of a trade off I suppose..

Labor Day is blocked out to most passholders, it might be emptier. President's Day and Easter were a whole lot emptier than the weekends following them this year.

That's interesting...I wonder why that is?

I'm looking at either the weekends of 9/4, 9/11, or 9/18. Playing at the parks Friday thru Sunday. Is there a lesser of three evils in regards to those weekends?

Quick question. I saw that the whole "Gay Day" thing is usually the first weekend in Oct. Does anyone know is that is true for this year? We wanted to take my younger brother for his 18th on Oct fourth, but if they have that going on, I really don't want to take him in the midst of all that.

Do you just not want to deal with the crowds or are you afraid he'll catch "teh gay?" Because if it's the former, the atmosphere is really festive and you don't notice the crowd very much. If it's the latter, then tht's not really a good reason.

We are planning on taking our 2 kids to Disney for 5 days in Sept.--ages 4 & 5. Which week would have the least amount of crowds--the week beginning Sept. 19th (there is a large convention that week) or Sept. 26th which is the start of the Halloween season? I am really trying for low crowds because waiting in long lines with 2 small kids is not too fun--thanks so much!

Well, I was more concerned with the crowds.....

I have had many gay friends, so that's not an issue. Either way though, sexuality shouldn't come into play at DL-hetero or otherwise.

You will not have low crowds. September weekends are very crowded. I would take the later weekend because the Halloween decorations are up, Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain are open again. It will be crowded regardless. Saturday will be better than Sunday.

Hey, how does the second or third weekend in November look in terms of crowds? I'm trying to plan a trip (2 weekdays and 2 weekend days) before the end of the year. I'm trying to find a time with the best possible balance of minimal crowds and the most attractions open. October isn't really an option because I don't want to go during Halloween time. Also, will the Holiday decorations be up by the second or third weekend in November? Any help is appreciated!
