Sunday will be mobbed, weekdays will be empty, but also likely early closing times.

Remember to do the Fireworks and Fantasmic! on Sunday if you plan to see them, since they only run FrSaSu.

So, going to be in the area the 7th - 10th of August. Thinking of going that Friday (the 7th) and then Monday the 10th. But, APs are blocked out on Saturday, so would that be a better day to go than either Monday or Friday. I mean, it's still summer on the weekdays.

I'm not a local, obviously, but from what I've read on this thread, you're usually better off going when the AP is blocked out.

I saw on the first page that when the AP is blocked out, it is a very busy time, which makes sense, but does not tell me if it is actually more or less busy than a summer weekday that is not blocked out for APs.

This year things are different, because of the economy. In most years, there is a reason for blocking Deluxe APs on Saturdays: so there will be one slightly lighter crowd day for the weekend tourists. This year, there are not as many tourists. Saturday might be your lightest-crowd day. Maybe a 7 (scale in post #1), when it is normally a 9.

Yes.

Quick question. Could I be able to get a few rides on TSMM if I go there first? I'm not sure how the traffic patterns have changed, but I remember last year, when the attraction opened, most of the crowds were concentrated in that area.

It's been like this for a while. This is caused by scheduled, must-see-at-this-spot events. Fireworks, mainly. Fantasmic! as well.

Hey guys..

I'm visiting the resort for the first time in October. We'll be arriving in LA on Oct 7 and visiting until the 21st. We plan on going to Disneyland during the week when the APer's are at work/in school.

I was wondering what the hours are like for the park. They have not posted anything yet.

These are educational guesses

weekdays DL 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
DCA 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
weekends DL 8 a.m.-10 or 11 p.m.
DCA 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. or 9 p.m.
