Um, akshully...

People from Utah =/= Mormon

In fact, Mormons don't even make up half the population of the state.

If you're going to make blatant, stereotypical generalizations based on someone's home state, at least try at make them accurate, ya know?

Back on topic!

We're going October 19-22. Middle of the week (M-Th) and two weeks before Halloween. "Typically" what can be expected?

October 19-22 is a school weekday so it might be light or average. Also by the way Space Mountain and Haunted Masion will be both down to install the Halloween overlays.

We're looking at going November 20-22. How will it be? The Summer Nightastic fireworks will probably be over by then, won't they?

Oops...Okay the park will be very busy than. Both Space Mountain and HMH will assure that. With Captain EO rumor to return than it will be crazy crowded. Sorry, I thought it said September not October.

Re: When Will it Be Busy at Disneyland - 2009 Edition

I just got my AP on July 12th and have been pretty much every weekend since. I must admit this is my first summer living in SoCal so I don't know how busy DL used to be...that being said, I was pleasantly surprised most days at how UNcrowded it was. Most rides were 20-30 minute wait (ended up being closer to 15-20) and mind you, this was on Saturday and Sunday. Obvious exceptions were Space Mt., Splash Mt, and Indiana (upwards of 75 minutes for all three most of the day--however, we got on all three before 10 a.m. on Sunday with a 15-20 minute wait).

The worst of the crowds is during the fireworks and it is a nightmare to try and move anywhere near the epicenter of that. However, got on Indiana Jones in about 5 minutes during the fireworks.

We got on California Screamin on a Sunday (8-9) with a 5-10 minute wait and it was like that all afternoon from what I could see.

Re: When Will it Be Busy at Disneyland - 2009 Edition

Where does December 12th to the 19th fall for busy-ness?

I have checked the convention center, nothing major that week, and I have checked the anaheim school district, they are all still in session.

I was thinking we will most likely be at DL/CA the Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; we could do Tues/Wed/Thurs, but I want to be there for all the fireworks/celebrations and stuff they have on the fridays/weekends for one day.

We are flying in on the 12th though, which is a Saturday, so the week we will be there isn't totally the third week yet, I don't think??? Kind of in between, or am I kidding myself?

I am so excited, when we decided to elope, we chose to spend the time in/around DL, because it is our favorite place. Well, today it really hit me that we are going to be in DL at CHRISTMAS!!!! Oh WOW!!

My favorite place AND my favorite time of year AND I get to marry my Kyle.

This is going to be the best trip EVER.
