Not yet. They're still intact, although some of them are in a state of refurbishment that stopped halfway.

im very sad that this parade is gone!!!
I mean it has had a wonderful and long run at the park but, i mean i guess its time to retire the parade to make way for a new and exciting parade which will come down main street in 2010. I was working at the park for the 50th well pre-50th from 2002-2005 and was there the very first night the cast had a dress rehearsal after park closing on May 3rd, 2005, i cant tell you the excitement seeing those floats for the first time come down the street, and the original show stop of Welcome to Our Family which, no one got to see, it was cut down for time and crowd control purposes. Anyways it was magical, and it was great seeing a hint of a return from the Lion King Celebration, in the parade. Also,Jerry Orbach, the voice of Lumire returned to record the vocals for the Beauty & the Beast unit he passed away that same year. A lot of changes went through the final steps before the parade opened. Like the little mermaid float was suppossed to have ariel sitting on a swing on the front of the unit (where sebastion is), and the finale unit was going to have 50 Disney Characters in the finale instead of the princessess and princes (which were later cut). The floats have gone through a lot mostly weather damage, you could see it especially on the ursula float which made her purple skin turn brown, and her mouth wouldn't move sometimes, and the ariel float would not have the waterspouts and bubbles. Even though im sad its gone, im glad it did run for a very long time and people got to enjoy it. The new Celebrate Today Cavalcade wont be as grand as parade of dreams but, it will be a good temporary replacement , remember Mickeys Magical Cavalcade in 2004? it was cute replacement for Parade of Stars, but now we will have to wait until Disneylands 55th anniversary to see a new parade in 2010. Parade of Dreams will live on in the Disneyland history books and will have many magical memories for guests & cast members who got to see and be in the parade for many http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=<obje...mbed></object>years to come.=0)

I am going to have to agree, the song was horrible. If the new song sucks as well I am going to have to start making a mix of music that fits the parade perfectly.

i am sad to see it go! i have never seen it fully in real life, just bits and pieces. but when i look back on it, i wish i would've paid more attention to it because now i love it. i can't get enough of it on youtube videos haha. and i love the song.

I love the song to and every time I hear Walt's part and the song gose I picture in my mine what Aurora,Snow White, Doc with Snow White and Cinderella do on that part of the song. Funny thing is when that song comes up I stop what I am doing like I'm frozen like how they are when it gose.

I absolutely LOVED how Parade of Dreams "parade" music was more orchestral (but still very upbeat with great arrangement - and a lot of bass), and then the "show stop" music was really contemporary and up-tempo. There was that nice contrast between the two.

God I'm going to miss that...

I'm going to pretend I didn't read that. The music was fantastic in my opinion. I guess everyone's entitled to their own opinion huh?
