    I need some advice...

For the first time in months, I am going to DLR tomorrow with a 1-day hopper. I know what attractions I want to hit; however, I am going there with a friend who is his first time to DL. How should I approach this sensitive topic?

I'm not sure what is so sensitive about the topic.

The fact that he will be required to wear a "First Visit" button all day?

Just tell him that he will have a great time - as long as he can keep up with you.

Sensitive? Why? Does this friend have some sort of traumatic connection with Disney?

Seriously, just tell them to have a good time. Take them to see some characters, the castle, the parade, the fireworks and your classic attraction standbys (Mansion, Jungle, Pirates, iasw, Space Mountain, Peter Pan, Matterhorn and Alice in Wonderland etc.)

Get your fastpasses bright and early, if this person is not a huge Disney lover take them on a couple of thrills first (Indy, SM), and if they are a bit ride phobic, maybe catch a show or parade they'd enjoy, or ride a FL ride or two?

Why the sensitivity? I say 'mentally kick back' and have fun! Enjoy your day! I remember those days - when I could go and RUN from ride to ride and never get tired.

You should post a trip report when you return!

Why would this be a sensitive topic? Go and have fun. Hit the major attractions when you can with a reasonable wait and just have a great time!
