Not exactly a trip report, but a dozen (13, actually) pictures from several trips I took during this holiday season....
Some shots of Fantasyland:
At night, the toy soldier leaves his post. The rumor is that he sneaks into the attraction building, leaving cereal boxes, and harassing the platapi:
The Christmas Parade. The first time I saw this, I was too frustrated over the hot cocoa my son spilt, some of which ran down the sidewalk to where others were watching. This time, I noticed that these marchers really are playing their trumpets. Cool.
Pluto, with the Emporium behind him. (Hmm, where have I seen a similar picture?)
Big Thunder Mountain at sunset:
While the kids shop for pins, I amuse myself by taking pictures of Christmas decorations:
Another nighttime picture of It's a Small World:
My niece had warned us (based on personal experience) to NOT try to catch one of these snowflakes on your tongue. Nevertheless, my son is tempted...
Notice how he keeps his mouth closed as he points to his favorite ride. (These were the ride times on Friday, 12/19, at about 7:30):
I can't explain it, but the teacups are so dang fun! Especially when you ride with a 7 year-old, spin as fast as you can, and both of you laugh your heads off:
Finally, two view of Sleeping Beauty's Castle at night:
