About LinkBacksDid anyone by chance get a screen shot of it? I thought it looked really cool!
There was no way for me to get a screen cap of it, sadly, but I do like the idea. It looks nice.
New "Tinkerbell" electrical parade float confirmed!!!! So i was watching the annual Walt Disney World Christmas Parade on ABC this morning, and there was a segment where Ryan Seacrest was talking about Disney's California Adventure rides and attractions, then he mentions Disney's Electrical Parade! which he says: "has dazzled audiences blah blah blah....ect...ect...ect and a new Tinkerbell float concept art was shown for the parade!!!!!! It has tink sitting on a bed of glowing leaves!!! It was shown very quick and fast, did anyone see it? I guess it must be confirmed then if disney showed it on national tv! Does anyone know when we will see this new float come down the performance corridor?
Well that's good news! I wonder if the technology will be noticeably different from the original floats.
what part of the show was this? I recorded it but lost power during the last half hour or so and dont know what i might have had cut off.
I don't know how far into the show it was, but I do like it. As much as I'm going to miss the Blue Fairy, the Tinkerbell float looks great.
Concept art never "confirms" anything. The electrical parade improvements have not even been confirmed yet.
I saw the parade today as well. I'm not to keen of them changing MSEP by adding the new Tinkerbell to it to replace the Blue Fairy. I know Tink is more of an icon then Blue Fairy is but to me Blue Fairy is MSEP in my own way.Now if they keep Blue Fairy in it and add Tink then I would not mine that. So is the Pinocchio float going back to in the MSEP that I wouldn't mine send I never seen it before but I do have the CD of MSEP with Pinocchio in it.
Do we know if the Tinker Bell float will even lead? Maybe it will just be a new float. Or the Blue Fairy will Join Pinnochio.
Title Floats are by nature small. The Tinker Bell looks to be a large scale float. I think that it won't be the leader.

Personally I think the lead float should just be the train.... it felt redundant to have the blue fairy out in front and then the pinocchio unit so far back in the parade... if Tink takes the lead what about the Tink ontop of the Jolly Roger? will there be 2 Tinks in the parade or will they remove the small one? also EP has had many changes over the years from a birthday cake to chinese dragon to Return to Oz... I think EP should get a new floats on a regular basis again... I liked the IASW unit from WDW

The segment went by very fast. I recorded the parade and it is in about 1 hour and 12 minutes. Here are three so so photos I took off the TV while I paused it.
Does anyone get shades of Light Magic when they look at the float? The flowers look awfully familiar.

If the Blue Fairy can't have all the attendants she used to have... Tink should not get anything bigger than the current Blue Fairy
