I like the look of the changes. Nothing too drastic. I like it!

This link you posted earlier is really all I needed to see. I don't understand the mish mosh speculation here. And from what I see there, the additions don't look horrible, they are almost subtle.

Please be reminded that those photos come from Hong Kong Disneyland and won't match DL exactly. DL's version will likely be less in the background as Hong Kong's sets were designed to meet the challenge while the characters have to find whatever space they cane here at DL.

I don't think it matters if there in the background or not. I think it only matters how well they look, & to be honest, the majority of those look just fine!

I just noticed something. In the Hong Kong version they show Abu from Alladin stealing a watermellon. Is that really appropriate for a ride about world peace? Again I really don't like the idea of characters in the ride. No matter how much they look like Mary Blair style they are still basically little ads for their respective movies. I guess Disney does not care about innovating or creating any more. It's all about money.

Wait- Is that little girl even Filipino? I haven't been on that ride in so long
    im pretty sure she's filipino.
she's the one in the pacific island (hawaii?) section by herself, with black hair in a bun, a white dress, and a white fan?

    Her?

I always considered her to be Hawaii (She always looked like Hawaii's Queen Lilikuolaini to me)

I hope they don't build an entire set for Aladdin.... Wouldn't it be nicer if they just had a low flying( lower than the others anyway) magic carpet with him and jasmine on it? Methinks so.........
