Can you imagine what tourists from other countries would think walking up and reading something like that IN the park!?
Disneyland regularly has gang fights?

A few years ago' Guests started taking advantage of Epcot's Leave A Legacy program and used it to honor deceased loved ones.

Re: Shooting victim honored at Disneyland?

I have a problem with this. I, as many others I assume, go to Disneyland to "get away from it all." I don't go to Disneyland because I want to be reminded of how terrible of a place the world is today. The statue would be a slap in the face to anybody else who has ever lost a family member under similar (or non similar) means and not have a statue of their own. Did he work for Disney, did he work for a vendor that contracts with Disney. Even if he did there is no reason to have a statue up to remind us. Now I have no problem with it in front of the Gardenwalk...(jk)

As they shouldn't DisneyWorld isn't in Orlando, it's in Lake Buena Vista

Heck, maybe add a plaque at the bottom of the Paradise Pier Lake while it is drained. And then once the lake is filled up, nobody could see it

I might have my shootings mixed up, but isn't this the one where the supposed "victim" was standing in his front yard with a gun in his hand when the police arrived?

He might have been reacting to what he heard/saw, and trying to protect his house, but the last place that someone should be with a gun is where the police are running towards.

If it's not, my apologies...

Anytime that someone is killed accidentally, it is a sad event, and someone should pay.

But in this case, not Disneyland!

Come to think of it, Six Flags or Knott's would be a more appropriate place for this kind of stuff.
