Princess Fantasy Faire Final Shows???

Was anyone there on the 4th to see the final performances of the Coronation Ceremony and the Storytelling??? Did they do anything special??? I never really watched it, but it makes me sad that they had to cut those shows.

PFF had their last show? Awww... it was so cute. I enjoyed storytime with random Princess. Always a great way to relax and rest the feet for a bit.

My then 16 yr old son danced the maypole dance with my then 7 yr old daughter. I got it on tape, Thank god for that. She will always remember how her big brother did that for her. She loved the PFF so I am sad to see it go.

I was there and they didn't do anything special for it. I know I got some pics and I think a video of most of it. (Still have to download my camera)

I stopped by PFF for the final shows and have a few pictures. I still need to sort and upload them, but will try to get a few on here later tonight.

Snow White had the honor of telling the final story at the 4:45pm Story Telling session. There was nothing overtly special done. The only thing I noticed was the larger than usual crowd because of the current and former CMs that came by to support the show.

At the final Coronation Ceremony at 5:15pm, the crowd of CMs had grown considerably and there was a lot of energy in the air. It almost felt like a mini rock concert with the audience screaming and cheering when the show started. I'm sure it confused some of the regular guests who were there. LOL

The final Coronation Ceremony featured Aurora, Belle and Cinderella. When the Princesses went onto the ballroom floor to dance around the Royal Ribbon Carousels (e.g. the maypoles), they were joined by the three Princesses who were currently at the Royal Walk: I remember seeing Ariel and Snow White. But I can't remember if the third princess was Jasmine or Mulan. As soon as the Ribbon dance was done, the latter three princesses returned to the Royal Walk.

As mentioned, I'll try to get a few photos uploaded tonight. While I can't say that I'm a huge fan of PFF, I thought the entertainment offerings were really, really nice and I thought all the CMs who worked PFF were absolutely terrific. I'm sad to see that they were part of the cuts.

Oh wow!!! I would loooove to see the pictures of that....of the audience too!!! And a video!!! Were there any tears?? Probably not I guess...they probably have to stay professional.

I have never been to this story time place before I was at the old one when they had it in the Once upon a shop or what ever it is call you know behide the castle. Anyways did they ever do a story time with Ariel before?

A large crowd of friends, family, current and former CMs were dancing along on the ballroom floor


There was a logjam around the royal ribbon carousels. The three princesses from the Royal Walk joined in. If you squint, you can see Snow White with Belle in this photo.

I can't tell to well cause of how far she is from the camera if this is one of my favorite Aurora's that knows me or not. I t kind of dose but not to sure?

Capt Hook's, I don't know if they ever incorporated Ariel into the storytelling sessions. I've wondered about that myself. Ariel did appear in the Coronation Ceremony and I was lucky enough to catch her earlier in the day when she did.

In the meantime, we'll take a quick break from the Princesses for a word about Sir Elias.


The actor portraying him is really good. The way he delivers his lines with confidence and a hint of smugness had me cracking up. It's probably not picked up by kids, but he also included a tinge of sarcasm for certain lines that were normally non-descript. The way he delivered his lines: "don't you just love the symmetry?" and "it's like a virtual kaleidoscope" had me laughing pretty hard. Kudos to Sir Elias!

Okay, we'll now return to the Princesses.

I think that Snow, Cinderella, Aurora, and Belle were the only princesses that did story time. I've never seen or heard of any of the others doing it.

The Princesses somehow found a way through the crowds and back onto stage.








And then it came time for that moment that everyone was dreading: the show had come to its end.
Belle makes her final curtsey before exiting.

With a wave and a kick in the air, Sir Elias and Lady Lillian exit stage left. Apologies for the blurriness. I think my hands were shaking and the lighting was challenging.

The applause and cheers during this time was quite loud AND full of heartfelt emotion. I'm sure it was a special moment for everyone in the cast, crew and production staff.
