Interesting, I did not know that. We just booked the standard AP rate and were not informed that we received any upgrade. The hotel did seem quite empty though.

Note: The plush was not included in the decorations, she had brought that with her.

I agree with you about the promotion - this makes much more sense than the maybe/maybe not YOMD. Best wishes to the birthday girl - looks like she had a trip to remember!

GREAT trip report! Call me a newbie, but I find it interesting that some of those lines were that long. GENERALLY, what was the wait time for the attractions?

    Re: 1/7-1/8 Birthday Celebration

We are big 'line-avoiders' and generally skip any line over 20 minutes so I am not sure what most line lengths are.

For Space and Indy the long (45-60 minute) waits were only following times when the rides were down. We always had fastpasses for these so got in 3-4 on each with minimal wait.

TSMM has been 30 minutes all the time (got lucky with a 15 min wait once). The only other non-fastpass attraction we had a long wait for was the Matterhorn. I will be curious to see if they open both sides when I am there next weekend.
