What will you celebrate? Birthday Gift Poll

Hello,

As most of you already know, Disney is offering free admission on your birthday for non-AP holders or blocked out APs. If you hold an AP which is valid on your birthday, you get to chose from a)Birthday Fun Card worth $69, b) A one day/one park ticket for you to use before your next birthday, or c) a 4 fastpasses for use by you and up to 6 members in your party.

I am interested to see what everyone is selecting on their birthday.

Poll opened =)

What OSM said. Besides, my birthday isn't until December... who knows maybe by then ticket prices will be higher so the value of the gift card might even be more than $69 by then.

I have to go with the B-day fun card. It just seems like a better offering. Espically since I'm going to be there by my self and not with a whole group of people.

Re: What will you celebrate? Birthday Gift Poll

No surprise everyone is selecting the Birthday Fun Card.

If you select the fastpasses, you only get 4 fastpasses. In my opinion, Disney should be offering fastpasses for every single fastpass attraction if you select the birthday fastpasses.

And even better, if you have a Premium AP, you get your 10% discount on merchandise when you use your BD Fun Card!

I guess I'd take the fun card...but isn't $69 kind of a strangley random amount? It just seems that $50 or $70 or something more "even" would make sense. Anyway...I'd take the fun card.

Re: What will you celebrate? Birthday Gift Poll

Can we use the Birthday Fun Card on merchandise that is food? For example, a pre-wrapped lollipop, or a tin of cookies.

I wouldn't call it random.

It's equivalent to a one day admission ticket, which is what the whole idea was about in the first place.

I like your way of thinking!!!

Muhuhahaha!

And besides, that combined with the PAP discount, and a person can stretch that amount by a nice number.

I was thinking that we'd even be able to us it in the candy shop, since it is not a restaurant. just a guess though...

Re: What will you celebrate? Birthday Gift Poll

Looks like Disney has now changed its mind AGAIN, and will allow a AP holder who is blocked out to buy a Blockout Pass for $40 (ParkHopper) on their BD and then request the $69 Birthday Fun Card.....
