Question How to make a better Disneyland?

Hi I'm in a Business class in College and my professor is having us make a fake business based off another real business. So I have always to make a theme park so who better copy off than Disney.
A big part of the project is to talk about the faults of the business your copying so I have a few idea's but I was wondering what you guys think would help make a park like Disneyland better? Thanks for any help.

From what I hear, Disney should take better care of its employees. Better pay and cleaner (back stage) working conditions would help keep the right people on the job.

They have GREAT rides and entertainment, and very sanitary. They have horrible and overly priced food though!

In terms of making more of a profit, it'd be better if Disney owned at least the majority of surrounding hotels and motels, a la WDW. It'd let them cash in more on the tourists they're bringing into the area.

Ditch Autopia and use all that real estate for something better.

I actually don't think that the food isn't that bad. It isn't the greatest, but when you compare it to other theme parks it's actually pretty good. I think Pizza Port is a pretty good example of this. As far as prices, it is a bit high, but again, compared to other theme parks it's quite a bit cheaper. I went to Knotts with my family last year and we had burgers that were $6. Then, to our utter dismay, the sign menu read "Add Fries and a Drink for $8 More." Wow.

Upper level management that understands showmanship.

I think the only food I like at Disneyland are the pretzels filled with cream cheese, the bacon cheeseburgers, and the Hot Chocolate!

I know there Hot chocalate is the best! I pretty much like all Dland food from the pretzels and churros to the Clam Chowder and Gumbo. From the Pizza at Pizza port to the Hot Dogs on Mainsteet. From the chilli dogs to chilli cheese fries to the chicken fingers and mozzerella sticks. Plus the Juicy Pinapple spears and fresh fruit.

    I sound like a fattie!

My coach for my swim team did tell me I need to gain at least five pounds! Since I'm bearly 110 lbs.

Hey I can't help that I have such a good Matabilizm.

O.K. this is dragging on to food arguments here!

I say Do what disney is doin but lower the prices cause more ppl will come.

Treat every guest as a VIP and raise the cash in the CM pockets.

Add more E ticket attractions and add possibly a better third park

I would have to agree with what RPDigger says. Didn't Disneyland, at one time, take care of its employees?

Overall, though, it's hard to complain too much. The way Disneyland is run is often a model for other businesses.

I have to disagree. DLR offers offer lower cost accomidations, the Paradise Pier Hotel. First of all for DL to take up the surrounding hotel/motels would be monopolizing the area. Yes people would be able to say that they are staying on Disney property but then have the joy of taking a bus or shuttle just to get there ewach day as opposed to being within walking distance. The All Star resorts at WDW are just cheap, and tacky looking (IMO) and DLR is better than that. If lodginf was such a concern then there would already be another hotel but seeing that there is not, it looks like they're making enough profit as is.
