sad thing is, we found it like that. no photoshop, just added the pic in the corner.
friends from disneylandclub33.com mentioned it to us and we went to take a look. thought we were crazy at first, but it really does look like what we think it looks like.
I hope this is a joke. I don't mind having the discussion, but please, just...no. No more Star Wars. My husband and son would probably love it, but I'm such a Disney purist, I hated the idea of Indiana Jones or Star Wars in Disneyland, and I'm a big Indy fan. I even dislike the the creeping infection that is Pixar, and I do love the films.
Like I said:
They have no real meaning, all of his "idea" threads are almost always far-fetched; and all of his posting almost always have that "wink" smiley face in the title as if he thinks he's being clever or something.
Man, there seem to be alot of Star Wars haters on here! But seriously, as a HUGE Star Wars fan myself, I would have ti still say no. Although I like darkfairycthulu's idea if it were hashed out more.
Oh! And what about a Star Wars DARK RIDE!? That would be AMAZING!!
As a huge SW fan, I want to say "YES!!!". Because someone has to. And at least it would get us SW Weekends at DLR!
We've actually discussed something similar on a SW board that I've been on for years and it seems like most fans would prefer a stand alone SW theme park rather than shoehorning a bunch of attractions into TL.
Hidden Jabba tree??? Find it I shall next time I go!
If there were to be only one Star Wars ride at DL I'd rather it be a lavish dark ride as opposed to Star Tours. But thats just me.
I completely agree! It could start with a brief video of the opening crawl, and then all of a sudden... a tiny Blockade Runner flies overhead followed by a MASSIVE Star Destroyer, and then a Pirates style ride through the first scene in the white hallway with Vader... I've gotta stop. I'm drooling all over the keyboard in excitement.
