No Columbia = no show.

There is a work boat that can push Columbia if need be.

I've once seen the "work boat" moving the Sailing Ship Columbia during Fantasmic!, it was a black boat behind the ship with a few people on it.

They can't do the show without the Columbia. It would be interesting to see it do on the stage, but the audio won't match. I they can do it, they can make it so that it can take place on Neverland.

I also seen the barge push the Columbia around when thy couldn't get it to work.

The Pocahontas battle sequence that was devised to replace the battle aboard Columbia for Florida is not nearly as entertaining.

I think my brother has video of the "work boat" pushing the Columbia. We were watching fantasmic back in July 2008 and during one of the nights we recorded. I will see if he will post something.

Re: Fantasmic! peter pan scene onstage?

i thought that in the past they had run the show and skipped the columbia scene due to it being down? is that not true? i just remember it being mentioned in a trip report once...

i've seen it run without the crocodile barge before, but i've never seen it personally with a little tow-boat on the columbia.

it's never skipped a scene. before the recent month's switch from film to a digital projector that wasn't even possible. now although it's possible, it won't happen.
