Who is more popular? Mickey Mouse or Winnie the Pooh?

I think Mickey is more popular than Pooh, over all; however, I've long had the feeling that TWDC has never quite known what to do with Mickey. They kind of boxed him in as far as animation goes (he's now a good guy mensch), and it's hard to do tie ins. So finding new avenues to market him seem to come up against this "Mickey's not like that/Mickey wouldn't do that" kind of a wall.

Paradoxically, I think more kids respond to Mickey, who they don't see as much, than they do Pooh, who gets a lot more TV coverage. Lucky for my grandson, we have all the Mickey Disney Treasures...

What really bugs my Piglet-loving small girl is the lack of piggy merchandise and especially the lack of a costumed Piglet in DL.
