Chat What are they doing with the Dream Suite now?

Have they stopped with the whole Dream Squad thing?
or are they still giving it away?

I only ask because I think it would be a shame to get that place all nice looking only to give it away for 6 months or so.

There were walls up around the elevator area yesterday.

I think they will reuse it for something, either renting it out at a ungodly rate or for Corperate VIPs and such. or some Tie in with Celebration Campaign they are doing.

That's what I was gonna say - I thought the plan was for the Gallery to move back home... is that not the case?

Yeah, count me in as one who wants the Disney Gallery to be put back in place.

Heck, it could be even better than before with all the new furnishings and such that went in for the Dream Suite (minus the beds, of course, and maybe the bathrooms).

If they kept it as a "DL Suite", I'd rent it out for the night.

How soon before they start taking reservations???

I think it should at least stay open for tour groups to go through, so everyone could at least have a chance to see it in person.

Talk was Tony B. would like to move the bank and AP processing out of their building on Main St, and use that space, along with upstairs of the building, AND the LOBBY for the 50th movie/Lincoln theater, for a new Disney Gallery. BLECHHH to THAT idea!

They already have one. Its called Club 33.

No, you miss some critical points, there are Beds in the old Gallery. Plus, 33 was NEVER open to ALL DL guests, unlike the Disney Gallery.

I think they should still give it out. Since people will be celebrating anniversaries, birthdays and family reunions, why not let those people CELEBRATE! with the suite?

And Aladdin - fkurucz was saying that Club 33 is a place for corporate people to go, not for DL guests.
