I'm taking my 7yo dd...just the 2 of us. I know from experience at WDWorld that if you don't have a plan, the whole day can disappear pretty quickly. Where can I locate an optimal 1 day touring plan? She's not a daring little one, so we won't be doing any big rides.
I don't know that there is any kind of touring plan for Disneyland. Remember, even with DCA the Anaheim resort is way smaller than WDW. Are you planning to do both parks or just Disneyland? If you are only doing Disneyland, I wouldn't worry, esp. if you won't be doing any of the wilder stuff (not that there is a lot of that at Disneyland).
There is a website some people use to optimize and plan out their day/rides... but I can't think of what it is right now. I'm sure someone will remember!

This is what I usually do with my son (4 yr old) when we go to DL (not including DCA). Start with Fantasyland b/c those rides don't have fastpasses and can get crowded in the late morning/early afternoon. Try to get to the park when it opens if you can and ride Peter Pan's Flight first, followed by Dumbo. Then do any other Fantasyland attractions your daughter wants to do. My son has no fear and likes to ride Space Mountain, Big Thunder and the other thrill rides so we gather fastpasses throughout the day for these rides and ride other rides with shorter lines while waiting for the fastpass times.Originally Posted by bagheeramom

I agree with this, given that you are unfamiliar with the park and have a single day use Ridemax and you will be able to get everything you want done, plus Ridemax comes with a guide regarding how to get the most out of Magic Mornings.
