Oh my. Another MC Anniversary Trip Report

[Disney1978]

Right after work on Friday I drove as fast as I could to the hotel. After so many countdowns, it was finally here.

After changing out of my work clothes , we were off to the HoJo's for the welcome party.

Let's start off the pictures with one of the wonderful Administators of this site:

Superstacie and I had seen a band at Tomorrowland Terrace months ago and we both loved watching them. So we left the HoJo's and walked to Disneyland.

Waiting for the band what do you do? Take random pictures of yourself.

It was finally time for TOMASINA

She is just so much fun to watch. She is a great front for the band.

Here is her HOT band.

After staying at Disneyland until close we decided that since we had to be up at 8 for breakfast we should
Option A: go back to the hotel and get a good nights sleep
Option B: go to the Lost Bar and stay until closing.

Which did we pick?

Yeah, well it was not that hard of a question.

After closing the bar and having a great conversation with my hotel buddy, Brerrbit1, it was time to sleep, well more like nap. Will we make it to breakfast at 8am?

Saturday 1/31/09

When the alarm went off at 7:30am I dragged myself out of bed, but it took a little longer getting ready. We did make it to Whitewater to have breakfast, but not at 8am. The plan was to be at Disneyland when they opened, but that did not happen. We did make it to the opening of DCA.

Trying to avoid the long security and entrance lines we used the side entrance. Before a certain time you cannot use the side (sun ) entrance, but we had eaten at the Grand so off to the entrance with 3 people waiting to get in.

We decided that the first thing we would ride is TS:MM. So it was off to the waiting line.
Timmy55 and Pratt55. Such a great couple. And maybe one day, great in-laws.

After about 15 minutes of waiting, we were off to wait in another line. Always a chance for more photos though.

Poor Charlie, trying to figure out what the heck was going on with Stacie and I! I think everyone got scared when we looked like we were going to rumble and were shedding all our stuff and standing at the ready. That was one of my favorite moments of that first night!

I love seeing what I missed between the "after DL closes" and when we finally got to the Lost Bar. Can't wait to see what comes next.

The Saturday meet

After the meet we took the group photo then it was off to lunch. I ate for the first time at Farmers market and had a great California wrap. yummy.

I think it maybe time to go to bed since I just blanked on what we did after lunch. Uh oh...

One of the great things about anniversary, you get to see people that you have not seen in a long time.

My very first meet was April 1, 2007. There was a single riders meet that day and at that meet I met DizneyFan17. Everyone in our group became instant friends with him. I have not seen him since that day. Right before the group picture I hear a familiar voice. I turn around and almost jumped on him when i huged him.

Dizneyfan17 giving his best "blue steel" look. There were alot of zoolander moments this weekend.
