Uh, okay. I personally would take Everest over Limo anyday.

Gotta love the Stitch plush toys in the shop as you exit. No marketing going on here....right?

I think Woody, Jesse & Stitch are SO out of place.

I just took a look at a bunch of the pics, it's not that bad. The big question is, how did the new boats and flume perform? Any boats get stuck? Sink?

I think they did a good job matching the Disney characters to Mary Blairs design. That's it. If it wasn't for the high powered spot lights pointed at the Disney characters with the original characters left in the shaddows I would be almost okay with it. But whatever sells more plush.

When we rode it at Christmas, the new boats were running and seemed to me to move slower and still get stuck. It was like the bulk of the new boats is just slightly larger than would be ideal for flume.

That and they look and feel like Tonka Toys to me.

Flash pictures can do that to a figure, you know. Go see it for yourself and decide if they actually have "high-powered spotlights" pointed at the characters.

Overall, not excited by the final implementation of the characters into the ride. But, I don't ride it anyway! So I will just continue to not ride it.

Re: Small World - General Comments - Moved From Review Thread

I've just got to add that with a few minor exceptions (Pinocchio, Donald, Woody, Jessie for example) I do like the changes and new music. It just isn't that big a deal. The color and lighting is great, the song is still there, but with a few enhancements. It is STILL It's A Small World.

Hopefully, the Imagineers will give a bit more attention to some of the new dolls to make sure that they better match the size and look of the Mary Blair originals.

Re: Reviews of New "Small World" at Disneyland - Post HERE

I'm going on Sunday and I'm not even going to bother if this queue is over half an hour. I kind of even was less than neutral on it before anyway, and it looks like the characters don't really add anything, and the America Scene just looks cheap and boring. Why this when you can be exploring a forbidden temple, or riding an out-of-control mine train?
