Miceage holds other site accountable for doing the same thing so I want to make sure everyone plays by the same rules.

Burn Holes? They might be planning to install lights that will only show in WofC.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker III

I was told by a CM that someone has already purchased the San Francisco bridge in DCA. Thats the first I've heard of pre-purchasing future remanence of Disney Theme Parks.

Wow, those lights are pretty intricate! It'll probably make some cool patterns.

Speaking of fell real, anyone have a clue why Soarin' is not a 3D film? If there is any movie screaming out for 3D it is Soarin'. Not cheesy 3D for 3Ds sake like in HISTA or ITTBAB, but imagine the effect the film would have if all of the scenes just like they are now, but in 3D. Talk about a thrill ride! I think coupled wih the current sights and sounds, it could be very impactful.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker III

Those are not lights on the Screamin loop circle. They are mounting points for the large circle that will fill that space. From the galleries, it is blue and gold (not diamond plate yellowed silver like it currently is) and has a sunburst patter on it. The new centerpiece for the loop will most likely have rods on the back of it that will affix to these mounting points leaving a space behind for cables and such for the lighting package.

Soarin' was filmed with a massive fisheye lens to fit the arc of the screen, i'm not sure you can film 3D with fisheye lenses, without being very awkward.

That is so awesome! If the Pier plays that it would add great fun to the parks atmosphere.
