    Birthday Button and Tortillas

My soon to be brother in law went to Disneyland (without me) and got a birthday button even though his bday is in July. He said he tried to get the bag of tortillas but was not even offered one. I told him that now that there was a promotion for people's bday, he might have had a different button from the "official" bday ones. They knew he was trying to pull a fast one. Does anyone know if I am right? What is the code?

They don't have to offer you anything, especially if you look all desperate about it When I did it, I looked around like I didn't care and had no idea they had that offer and got a baggy

That brings up a good point.

Now the "almost" b-day guests will stick out like a sore thumb.

I guess folks could say that they are there celebrating their b-day but not on its actual day.

I would imagine that the new b-day celebration will cut down on the "non-birthday" birthdays...

So they have two different birthday buttons now
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I went on January 26, my actual birthday, wearing my birthday button. I was handed one tortilla and wished "happy birthday." No bag of tortillas.

Yep, happened to me on my last b-day too for the 1st time. They need to crank up production on the tortilla maker!

I inquired about this once, and the reason for no birthday tortillas I was given was because the burrito shop next door needed all the tortillas that were being made & bagged apart from the samples.

HEY! I got those! Went with my bff and we both were celbrating our bdays in the middle of the week (our Bdays are exactly one week apart) and she got tired of wearing the pin so we took it off. Bad mistake cause I got a bag of tortillas!! She was green with Envy! But of course we shared so all is good!

    There's no guarantee.

They are handed out on an "as available" basis.

    And they are yummy!

We prefer the flour tortillas over the corn ones as a solo snack.

Hahaha, I remember on my birthday when I got the baggy, we had no cash left at all and that was basically our lunch! That's just sad but hilarious

The kid got a bag of tortillas on her last birthday visit. She was over the moon. Now, every time I buy tortillas at the store, she comments on how the ones at DL are better. lol She also won't let me buy her anything but Mission now.

Enjoying the warmth and sunshine of Phoenix between Disney trips.
