    Sketching in the parks

For those of you who have an AP's and go so often that you don't have do everything but instead enjoy the scenery. Have any of you ever brought your sketch book and sketched all day? I finally got the chance last month to be in the DL armed with my trusty pen and sketch book. I would say it was one of the best times I've had there. Any one else out there enjoy doing that to?

    All the time.

I made this little girl happy once by sketching her as a princess.

I really enjoy it though. And especcially if you're with someone who wants to ride the rides, makes time fly by in the lines.
We are currently imagineeing a new attraction for you!

Please enjoy all the other attractions in fabulicious Vasooki-land!

If I would love to draw at DL, but I don't get down to the park very often.

I don't have an AP, so I don't go frequently enough to justify this, but there was this one time I was backstage and I obviously couldn't take photos, so I did some very quick sketches of important bits of information for my model.

I've done some sketching in the park. ToonTown, Lafitte's Tavern, and the Tiki Garden. It's a nice way to spend a bit of time.

If I had any sort of drawing ability, I would.
    But sadly, I don't.

Heh..yea. I did that when I had my AP. Mostly last summer when they had the yearly summer pin-trading event. I sometimes got bored waiting from when the park opened at 8am till 2pm for the pin cart to open in frontierland, so I finally brought my sketchbook and drew some stuff, created my ideas of new pins, and even had to have one of my friends trail around the west side of the park trying to find a pencil sharpener cuz i forgot to bring one. It was all awesome tho. I did sketch tom sawyers island, so that was pretty cool!

I love sketching in the parks, I do it whenever I get the chance. I especially love sketching Sleeping Beauty's Castle, it's easier to sketch than it looks (at least to me anyway), I was a bit suprised!

The best place is a picnic bench on the front porch of the mill on tom sawyers island. you have a great view of the water and not to many people
I only hope that we don't lose sight of one thing-it was all started by a mouse

That's interesting. In all my years at Disneyland (as a CM and guest), I have never seen anyone sketching in the park.
