Nice.
that was a great article, thanks for sharing. Really shows that Disneyland, despite it's very much corporate behemoth owner, is truly...dare i say it... magical.
Edit: Spellbound means they were watching basically in awe.

I agree with alot said in that article. I don't like the Disney Corp. but I love DLR!
i hate funkiller
Now if only I could get my friend to do that. She hates it because she thinks that the dark rides are boring adn that only rollercoasters are fun. Gah.
I'm taking her on her birthday, wheter she wants to or not.
We are currently imagineeing a new attraction for you!
Please enjoy all the other attractions in fabulicious Vasooki-land!
I thought the end kinda was.
I know for me when I take someone who has never been or just as the author suggested, looking that the park through a child's eyes makes the park so much more magical.
I also sit and just reflect on what Walt did for us. He really put his heart into the park.
And yes, maybe I don't agree sometimes what the Disney Corp does sometimes, but I try to take myself back to what Walt saw every morning when he walked the park. I think more of the Disney Corp needs to 1: imagine the park through a child's eyes (and I'm not talking about the toys that they see); 2: Imagine what Walt saw every morning when he walked the park and imagine how he must have felt about a park that he put his heart and soul into.

Great article -
I can't imagine experiencing the park without all my own childhood memories tied up in it. Maybe it's harder to find your 'inner child' at Disneyland if you were never there as an actual child... ?
Glad he felt the love, though.
Who could resist?

I remember the first time I went to Disneyland.
I don't remember a single ride at all.
What I do remember is walking in and being blown away by the "magic" (yes I used it, and everyone has a piece of it when they go to Disneyland) and thinking, someday I'll work here. Now with how the management treats the employees I wouldn't even think of it.
