    Wow, this place has changed

It has been about 3 years since my last journey into mice chat. And wow, this place has changed so many more sections and so many memebrs lol.

Anyway, my reason for the return is this. I am journeying back into the park for the first time in three years (my 5th trip total) and for the first time in my life I have a toddler in stow.

So now for the odd question. Where is Disneyland would you take a family picture. Would you go for the good ol 'in front of the castle' or do you have an out of the way space that you love?

(another change, I didn't have to select a prefix 3 years ago... der lol)

Let Photo Pass take a lot of pictures. Then when your vacation is over, you can decide which picture you like the best. Also, if you give the Photo Pass Photographer your camera, they will take your picture with it as well. This is a great way to get a lot of pictures of your group. You can then choose to purchase the Photo Pass ones, or pass on that, and use the ones on your own camera.

I suggest you pick a place that will be around for awhile and then every time you go back, take the same pic to see how kids have grown and you have... well.. changed.

We are so glad that you still think of us when you are planning your trips!

    Here are some photo ideas:

    - Snow White's Wishing Well (next to the castle)
    - Bridges next to the Castle (just to the left as you face the front of the castle)
    - Directly in front of the castle
    - Any of a number of places in New Orleans Square
    - Town Square on Main Street with Main Street and the Castle as your backdrop.
    - Path between Pixie Hollow and the Castle which leads to the Matterhorn with the Matterhorn as your backdrop.
    - Small World Mall with Small World as your backdrop.
    - In front of Mickey's house in Toontown.
    - TownTown, with the Toon Town sign in the background

There are LOTS of great places for a family photo. Don't limit yourself. Taking pictures is fun. Take a bunch of them and create wonderful memories which will last a lifetime.

    Have a magical trip!!!

We seem to always do the Mickey Floral and have recently added the Court of Angels.

Dusty is absolutely correct though. There are so many wonderful spots for photos.

Enjoying the warmth and sunshine of Phoenix between Disney trips.

    Wow! Great suggestions!

Here are some that we've done:
    * ToonTown Car and fountains (son likes the music one, daughter prefers Roger Rabbit).
    * Fantasia Gardens, where the old motorboat attraction used to be. Very pretty with the plants, water, and Monorail going by overhead.
    * Area south and/or east of iasw -- lots of fun backdrops.
    * In front of the abandoned mine shaft, across from BTMRR.
    * Area across the walkway from the Dole Whip cart (or same side, with tiki faces & torches).
    * Tarzan's treehouse

I agree. With today's cameras, it is highly likely that one will be good.

Re: Wow, this place has changed

I witnessed something very cool when I was waiting in line for Alice in Wonderland one time. Someone managed to have a Photopass photographer take a family picture when the family emerged from the ride at the top of the hill. That would be a really neat picture.

Another good spot is next to Big Thunder right near the exit.
