Haha, thanks. I like you. You're blunt and you knock some sense into my paranoid little head.

    Re: Disney Face Character Auditions

Hello you people typing your words into your small computer boxes XD
Ahem, I am thinking of auditioning for a face character in the next few years (preferably everyone's favorite Hatter) and I was just wondering not accounting the weight I'm currently loosing what are my chances of landing any face character?

Height: 6ft+ (only one or two inches)
Complexion: Varies from fine/normal skin to breakouts (medication applied for control)
Shoe size: 12-14 dependent on style (Hatter as big shoes <3)
Teeth: Very good (I like parenthesis)
Vocal ability: I'd like to say that I'm pretty good when it comes to vocal manipulation and others agree
Hair (not that it matters): A blond curly mess
Other: Great love for children, loves making others happy

I've read some great responses from people with great intell so I thank you for giving me some "Very Good Advice" in advance

Hey guys haven't posted in a while! I was just wondering if anyone knew if the next round of auditions would be in February or March...I'm trying to make plans for when I can fly down to Anaheim.

Folks here shouldn't really bother posting their stats, without photos nobody can make any judgments. You can describe yourself all you like but it's never gonna paint a clear picture for what you might be good for. The only thing worth noting is height.

Kenshi you are too tall for Hatter, so unless your face is a PERFECT fit you most likely won't get it.

But I don't want to go among MAD people!

    Re: Disney Face Character Auditions

    Hello everyone
I have a question about parade face characters. I'm a little unclear on how to become one. From what I've heard, you have to pass the dance audition first, and then you may get chosen as a look-a-like. But someone else has told me that you don't necessarily have to pass all the stages of the dance audition, because as long as you have a little bit of rhythm, you can be chosen as a look-a-like. Can anyone clear this up for me?

Also I was wondering how they audition people for Fantasmic? I think they only offer it to current cast members right?

    Thanks a bunch

Yeah I know photos are the best thing but I don't want to post mine online. I was really just wondering what I might be considered for with my height (5'3 1/2) and my eye color (blue)

Mickeylover2008, I think you're cleared for Alice, Wendy, and Tinkerbell. But I'm not 100% sure. Definitly one of the smaller characters though

No, Alice, Wendy, and Tink are 5'2 and shorter. She would be closer to princess height.

    Re: Disney Face Character Auditions

    Found this online:

You may know most characters look out of things other than their eyes, (eg. Brer Bear looks out the neck) Well, Goofy looks out of his mouth, but to make it appear that Goofy's eyes are looking at your kid or camera or whatever, the CM inside goofy must have their neck bent all the way down. Try this, stand straight up (Remember, Goofy is tall), slouch just slightly, and the moving only your neck, stare at a point about a 1.5 ft from the front of your shoe. Ouch, right? Now run around in circles like you've seen Goofy do.... The end result is Goofy has to make large 'laugh' movements when walking to not smack into a kid or sidewalk or whatever. (You never get to look straight ahead)
Is that true? It sounds awfully unsafe.
