    You're welcome.

I know the feeling. I can't wait until I audition in the fall. Hopefully I get lucky this time.

You can, but your chances are just much much slimmer

Hold up- that's from what you read... and you both read the same article. Be careful that you're not taking one comment made in one article written a while ago as the gospel truth. Always remember that there are two sides to the story, and that the author could have been the bitter one, termed for some reason or another.

Oh and if they email you, can they tell you that you've made it for more then one role?
If you are accepted, they tell you what height range you are in, not the specific roles. Then, when you check in, they might tell you that they want to wig you for face. If not, then you're just doing fur.

"Interested candidates should contact the Disney Jobline at (407) 828-1000 to schedule an interview. Qualified candidates will be invited to attend an audition." I'm hearing different things everywhere. Oh, this is so confusing!
I hope someone can clear this up for me :P
That's for someone going to a regular audition. If you are still planning on doing the CP, you need to attend a CP orientation (either in person or online). After the orientation, they'll give you a number to call to set up your interview. After the interview, then you'll audition.

Thanks guys! You've helped a lot.
    Okay, one more. Haha.

If you're not doing the CP and you've never auditioned, can you just go to an audition, like is it just open, and hopefully get lucky? Oh, and are there auditions just for FACE, instead of fur? Since i'm in the special consideration range i've heard they're more desperate for fur characters my height so they'll usually just put us in fur instead of considering for alice or wendy or anything. is this true?

Most likely not. You need to wait six months before transferring departments, I'm not sure how long the CP goes for, but I was under the impression it was less then five.

Thanks KCW, I have read it, but I have also heard it, but I'm not saying it's 100% true.

Does anyone know that if you want to be just a regular meet and greet character if you have to know how to dance?

It helps (since the audition is the same for meet characters as it is for performing characters, and it includes a dance round. Well, at least it is at WDW).

I'm curious to know what kind of dance routine it is, haha.

As someone else has already pointed out, Walt Disney World has a color system.

Disneyland, the auditions are completely different. My understanding is that character are the most fun, because it's not about dancing, but rather animating; and unlike the face auditions where the first cut is based on your look, at the character auditions the first cut is based on heights first.
