Kinda Sorta off subject but they're casting Princess Tiana right now.
    Exciting
    Whoever falls under this category
"Princess Tiana: Female, African American, portrays age 19, 5’5”-5’8”, slender build, large eyes; Alto with a mix; heroine of The Princess and the Frog"
    should try!

Ohh, I'm so excited to see who they cast as her
Sorry if someone posted this already. I don't really feel like reading through so many pages.:[

Oh cool. You know, im definitely starting to think about parades now If you got to be Alice/Wendy in a parade and then fantasmic at night or something how fun? Although meet and greets would be the best.
Ugh, it sucks being to young to audition.

As I said, it really depends on the audition. You might be auditioning for parades, however, they'll ask you if you'd like to be wigged to be Alice in the Park. You might be at an audition for CASP, yet they'll offer you a spot in Pixar. They've always got their eyes open for people to fill the currently open spots.

That's basically how it is for all parade auditions. As for the across the floor, it really depends on the show director and choreographer. It usually consists of Grand jete, and some turns. Nothing too complicated.

That can happen at Disneyland? Or just WDW? It seems like it could happen more at Disneyworld.

Oh and thanks for the parade information.

I'm sure it can happen at any of the Resorts, though I've seen it happen at the Disneyland Resort.

This might have been asked before (28 pages is a long thread to read thoroughly!), but what is the turnover rate for face characters? I would assume that it is fairly high, seeing as the auditions happen regularly, but that's just an uneducated guess.

Actually, most of the faces we currently have have been working at the park for a long time now. The newest we have are probably some of the fairies, but even then some of those girls are friends with other characters. In fact, there is a Mad Hatter face who's been with Disney for a very long time now.

They do hold auditions a lot, but out of the hundreds that go in, only a few(and I mean this almost literally) make the cut. Sometimes no one gets through. Disneyland can be that picky.

wow! they must be very picky. it would be better if they didn't just say face chracters, like they could say alice look-a-likes e.t.c because then they might not get as many people in, or the people that came in would try to be/ or will be what they're looking for.. but i don't know how the system works ..

if i went for face a couple of times and didn't get picked, i'd go for parade too

and also, is there any where that cast members live, or do they have they're own homes??
