considering 98% of the shoes worn in preformances (and by face) are 2in character shoes would it be better to do the dance audition in my character shoes rather than jazz or ballet shoes?

I think it would really depend on what you are most comfortable in. If you're comfortable dancing in heels (I know I can hardly walk in them, let alone dance!) I would say for it!

becki- that sounds awesome i went to disney land paris for xmas in 2010, loved it, changed heaps since i went last wayy bak when it was euro disney, and there were zero lines for anything. haha had a great time with mickey and minnie and drew a croud around us just having fun. sure u will love it!!!!!

I plan on going through my next 3 semesters (Spring '11, Fall '11, Spring '12) Disney-free. If my grades permit me to do so, I'll end up applying for the CP for the Fall '12. However, my plan as of right now is to pay for a flight and hotel room for May in 2012 at WDW, audition there and if I make it, spend the summer there then apply for the fall CP while I'm there. Would that be frowned upon? Or is that a legitimate idea?

I see a couple timing problems that can be easily fixed. If you want to do a fall CP, applications and auditions start in February of that year so you would need to be appling for the CP long before you head down there. Also, CP entertainment auditions are not held at WDW (at least, I don't think there are any held on location for the CP, only "real" auditions) but at locations all over the US so you may have to travel to the auditions. The last thing is something that gets me too, CPers can't audition ofr a permanent job while participating in the program so even if you were to do the CP and then plan on getting a job directly afterwards, you'd have to rent a hotel room for a couple of days or so inbetween.
